The following is an essay on various language education efforts for migrants in Greece, researched and written in July 2016, and previously published in 2018 on Medium.com. As I rescue my work from different corners of the web, I envisioned that this piece might find a more permanent home within The Usonian. Here, it serves as an historical testament to the pivotal moment in the Greek migration crisis experienced in 2016.
